Candidate Questions

Do I need mining experience to register?
No. We recruit trade assistants, labourers and site support roles that suit people moving into the industry, as well as experienced trades, supervisors and HSE personnel. Register with the experience you have.
What do roster patterns like 2/1 mean?
A 2/1 roster is two weeks on site followed by one week off. Common WA patterns include 2/1, 8/6 and even-time swings. Residential and Monday-to-Friday work is also available, particularly in Perth metro.
Who pays for flights and accommodation?
On FIFO roles, flights, accommodation and site meals are normally arranged and paid by the client or project. We confirm the arrangements for each role before you accept it.
How long until I hear back?
We review every registration. If your experience matches a current or upcoming role, we will contact you to discuss it. If nothing suits immediately, your details stay on file for future opportunities.
Does registering cost anything?
No. Registering is free and carries no obligation. We never charge candidates a fee to find work.
What licences and tickets help my application?
A current White Card, driver’s licence and any high-risk work licences or plant tickets you hold. Site-specific inductions, medicals and D&A screening are arranged per role where required.
